BEL-C (Beacons’ Early Learning Collective) is an education-based organization that provides enrichment, tutoring, childcare support, camps, and educator development programs that nurture curiosity, creativity, confidence, and community.
Most programs run in Orléans at the Pierre Rocque Community Centre, with some offerings in the Westboro/Dovercourt area.
We currently support children ages 4–12 (JK to Grade 8). Teen learning and leadership programs are coming soon.
The BEYOND Learning Hub blends homework time with STREALM learning — Science, Technology, Reading/Research, Engineering, Arts, Languages, Math & Mentorship. Children create, build, explore, and grow through hands-on learning.
STEM projects, art and design challenges, literacy workshops, engineering tasks, creative labs, and weekly theme-based learning experiences.
Group and 1:1 tutoring in Math, Literacy, Science, and French, plus study skills, organization strategies, and homework support.
TLH builds confidence and learning habits using STREALM and BEACONS’ Way. Children learn how to think, communicate, analyze, and explore — not just memorize.

HomeRoots supports home childcare providers with mentorship, training, materials, and guidance to start or strengthen their home-based childcare, or homeschooling programs.
