Stay informed

Programs are intentionally paced and sometimes scheduled close together. This allows for careful preparation and consistent, well-supported experiences.

A note on our rhythm

We wrapped up Winter Wonderland on January 2, closing out a season of joyful play, discovery, creativity, and connection. Thank you to the families who joined us and helped make it such a meaningful winter experience.

As we move into the new year, some of our programs fall close together. This is intentional. Pairing offerings allows us to prepare thoughtfully, reuse materials and setups, and create a steady rhythm for children and staff.

We share this here so families have a clear sense of what’s coming, and so expectations around pacing and availability are transparent.

BEACONS’ Play Workshop

An early-years play experience for young children and their caregivers.

"Play is the work of children" - Jean Piaget. At BEACONS’ Play Workshop, we honour play as the way young children explore, make sense of the world, and build confidence.

This hosted program is designed for children aged 18 months to 4 years, with caregivers remaining on site. Children move freely through thoughtfully arranged play areas that support movement, imagination, creativity, and early independence.

Our facilitators offer gentle presence and guidance throughout each session. Caregivers are welcome to observe, participate, and connect with others at their own pace.

This is not drop-off childcare. It is shared exploration, designed with the enjoyment of the child in mind.

Springtime Studios

Our March Break seasonal program, designed for creativity, movement, and connection.

Springtime Studios takes place during March Break (March 16–20). It offers a week of thoughtfully designed experiences that help children transition from winter into spring with curiosity and care.

Each day unfolds across a range of “studios” — spaces for making, building, imaginative play, movement, and quiet focus. Children are encouraged to explore deeply, collaborate with peers, and follow their interests at a balanced, supportive pace.

Springtime Studios is part of our seasonal programming rhythm, alongside Winter Wonderland and Sunbeam Summer. While the experiences shift with the season, our values remain the same: play as meaningful work, steady routines, and a nurturing environment.

Sunbeam Summer

Our summer seasonal experience, designed for longer days, outdoor energy, and joyful learning.

Sunbeam Summer runs from July 2 to September 4. It offers flexible weekly options that support families throughout the summer months.

Summer days are structured with intention and balance — combining active play, creative projects, time outdoors, and quieter moments for rest and regrouping. Children are encouraged to explore interests, build friendships, and enjoy the slower rhythm of summer.

Full schedules, weekly themes, and registration details will be shared as summer planning is finalized.

From Le Phare

Reflections, features, and perspectives from the Collective.

Alongside the Beacons’ Bulletin, we publish Le Phare — a feature-style newsletter where we share a longer reflection or point of view, along with smaller notes and practical tips.

Le Phare is written for parents, children, students, educators, and caregivers. It’s where we slow down, explore ideas more deeply, and share what’s guiding our work.

Stay connected

You can count on us to share relevant updates with you.

The Beacons’ Bulletin is updated as programs are confirmed and schedules take shape. It’s designed to give families a clear overview without needing to follow multiple channels.

We shall also regularly share longer reflections and feature pieces through Le Phare. These pieces are optional reading — a slower look at ideas, practices, and perspectives that guide our work.

Families are welcome to check in here when needed, or join our mailing list to receive updates directly.

Subscription options and links will be added soon.
